How much does shipping cost?

We offer free Shipping  within Switzerland

How will my item be shipped?

All products are shipped via QuickPac or Swiss Post. Both partners are climate-neutral.

Can I track my item online?

Yes. you will be sent an email with the tracking number on the day it is shipped.

How soon will my item be shipped?

It depends from the product. Sometimes we don’t have all our products in the inventory. When the product is available generally within 1-3 business days after payment has been received (except public holidays and Sundays).

Will I have to pay import tax on my item?

If you are located in Switzerland no.

My item arrived damaged. What should I do?

Please contact us immediately with photos of the damage as well as the damaged packing.

I'm unsure about my purchase - will I be able to return it?

All orders within Switzerland can be returned within 14 days. All cross-border orders are sold 'as is'. If you need a return option, please contact us to receive the return label.

The color of the item I purchased looks different in person than on my computer screen. Can I return it?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your monitor displays colors accurately as each one varies due to user settings and/or brand. Therefore we are not able to accept returns.

The item I purchased does not fit. Can I return it?

Yes you can. The item needs to be exactly in the same conditions and with attached tags. Please check out our Terms & Conditions. The cost of delivery will not be reimbursed, only the price of the product.

The item I purchased is significantly different to the description. Can I return it?

We are highly unlikely to grossly misrepresent an item on our site, however, if we made a significant error in the item's measurements or condition, it can be returned for a full refund. Buyers must notify us with their concerns within 3 days of receipt of the item.

I have purchased and received my item and have questions about it. Is there a period within which I must address any concerns to you?

Yes – you must do this within 14 days of receipt of the item.

I’ve purchased a used or vintage item and I have decided, after receiving the item, that I don’t like seeing signs of wear and “used” or “vintage” is not for me. Can I return it?

No. We are happy to work with you closely to ensure you make the correct purchase. All our items are sold “as is” and we fully disclose the condition of each item with numerous photos and thorough descriptions.

How do I consign my items with MONLUX?

Selling your unwanted luxury items with MONLUX is easy. Fill in the form and if you live in Zürich or Milan we can schedule an appointment to pick them up. Otherwise you can send them to us. First, fill-in the form then we ask you to send some pictures of the products, once we validate them internally we will ask you to ship the products to us. Once we approve your items then you can immediately ship us your products. Once your items have been received and inspected, our consignment team will send a final consignment receipt which contains validation of your products authentication, conditions and price. If products are not authentic and their condition does not meet our standards, we will return you back the items.

What are your consignment fees?

We charge the typical 35% commission for product value below 1000 CHF and 30% for product value above 1000. You will find all details under Sell with us page. All the costs regarding advertising on social media, shipping to customers, credit card fees, cleaning, photography, inventory etc. are covered by Monlux. Once the price is finalized between Monlux and the seller, to the final price will be added the 8% tax.

Do I need to ship my item to MONLUX?

If you are located in Zürich or Milan we can schedule an appointment to pick them up or you can ship them to us in a box.

How long do you keep my items?

We keep your items for minimum 3 months and maximum 6 months because of the expenses we invested (advertising, shipping, photographing, listing on the website etc.) Items cannot be taken back before end of the season specified on the consignment receipt or at least before 3 months.

We guarantee the authenticity of every item we sell or 100% of your money back including original and return shipping costs. At MONLUX we count with a highly trained in-house team of experts to verify the authenticity and the condition of all the luxury products we sell. The evaluation process is unique with its own mix of assessment criteria and differs according to the category of the product to ensure that only 100% authentic items are put on sale. Each item is evaluated based on the following combination of hallmarks, hardware, stitching, symmetry, material, craftsmanship, stamping, codes, hologram stickers, and packaging. Our authenticators also check if the items have been modified or amended (e.g., aftermarket diamonds, replaced batteries, repaired bags, etc.) Here are some of the important areas of our authentication process:

I took the item to my local boutique and the sales assistant told me it was not authentic. Why?

A. Many of our items are either vintage models, from previous collections or limited edition pieces that many sales assistants are not familiar with. If you have doubts about your item, please show it to an experienced store manager. If they believe it is not original, please get their name and phone number so that we can contact them and resolve the matter.
